(Thursday, January 28; Sioux Center, Iowa) Jacob Urrutia, a senior at Western Christian High School (California), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football program.
Urratia, a 6-0, 250 pound lineman, played offensive tackle, nose guard and punted for Western Christian while earning second team all-league honors this fall. He was named his team’s special team player of the year honor.
Jacob is the son of Marcos Urrutia and Michelle Urrutia and is a Rancho Cucamonga, California native. He plans to study criminal justice and biology at Dordt College.
