Elementary Music

General, vocal and instrumental music is a part of the regular school day program. Each class meets with a music teacher weekly for general music. The students meet for choir and perform in the annual Christmas Production. There is also a select vocal choir, “Kids on the Rock”, comprised of 3 rd , 4th and 5th grade students.

The instrumental program includes learning the recorder instrument in 3 rd and 4th grade. Students who take after school piano lessons have the opportunity to perform in the winter and spring recitals.

Kids on the Rock performs several times during the year for community events at a local churches and nursing facilities. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to minister.
