Western Christian School's Summer Camp Program

Summer camp at Western Christian is a fun and exciting experience.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday are spent here on campus for our elementary campers. We do crafts, chapel, movies and swimming.

Tuesday and Thursdays are field trip days. Our trips on Tuesday are usually in the afternoon. We swim in the morning, have our lunch and leave about 11:00 returning at approximately 3:30. Our big field trip days are on Thursday.

Academic Enrichment activities will include Language, Math, Science, Social Studies and Bible.  By incorporating technology learning, one-on-one instruction, independent practice and group activities,  the summer student will foster a deeper appreciation of the who, what, when, where and why of their academic pursuits.

We send home weekly notes letting parents know times and places. Be sure and check the marquee in front of the school with information about the upcoming week's activities. Cubbies (k-1 st ) and cougars (2 nd -4 th ) wear their shirts on Tuesday and Thursday. All lancers wear WCS shirts on Thursdays.

Lancers (5 th -8th) are on campus Mondays and Fridays. They do crafts, chapel, movies and swimming. On Wednesdays they leave for raging waters at 9:15 and return at 3:30. They need to bring money for food and snacks.

All tuition payments can be made at the table in front of the cafeteria in the mornings. You can purchase $20 snack cards or lunches for $3.25 at that time. Lunches are offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridays.

How much money should i send on field trips? Amusement park lunches run about $10.00. They need money for snacks and drinks. A total of $20.00 will buy them what they need. $5.00 for Tuesday trips is usually good. Some trips have lunch included. On the days it is not included, you need to send a sack lunch. Watch for our weekly notes to know if a lunch is needed.
