1920 Founder's Club
God has blessed Western Christian Schools since its founding in 1920. From unexpected opportunities
to revealed resources, His hand clearly guides the growth and direction of this institution. Perhaps
the greatest blessing of all is the heart of the people who support WC - alumni, parents, friends,
and family -- At the core of them is the 1920 Founder's Club, a group of people who give tirelessly of
themselves to continue the work and vision of Western Christian Schools.
For each of these individuals, choosing to support Western begins as a commitment to give financially.
With annual gifts of $1,920.00 and above, Founder's Club members help ensure the availability of
resources in the school's scholarship and general funds, which helps support student scholarships, as
well as the school's commitment to providing higher levels of excellence academically.
PROVIDE
Through consistent, generous donations qualify them for inclusion, members in this fellowship exhibit
a commitment far beyond financial support. They promise to give of their time as well. Each individual
brings a myriad of resources in the form of ideas, talents, creativity, and expertise. When called upon,
1920 Founder's Club members offer these resources for the betterment of the school system.
PROMOTE
Deeply believing in the mission and purpose of the school, those in the Founder's Club also commit
to promote Western Christian Schools within their homes, their churches, and their communities.
Given the opportunity, Founder's Club members help increase the awareness of Western's vision,
encouraging others to explore school and the opportunities it offers to so many.
PRAY
Finally, and most important, is their prayer support. Daily, the 1920 Founder members pray for
Western Christian Schools, its students, its faculty, and its leaders - a vital component of the life
of the university today. As Western Christian enters its 90th year of educating students, growth
continues at a rapid pace. Amidst this time of transition, there is an underlying peace that comes
from knowing that this is God's school.
