Thank you for your interest in Western Christian Schools.  The information below provides links to all the forms you will need to apply for admission. Begin by selecting the tab for the grade level or program you wish to apply to.  Specific instructions for these forms and for other aspects of the admissions process are outlined below.

HIGH SCHOOL ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION:  Western Christian High School’s Application for Admission is available online at the following link:  https://www.https://westernchristian.org/apply  In order to complete the online application you will be asked to create a user account on myWCS.com, which is Western Christian’s student information software. There is a $70 non-refundable application fee required when submitting an application.  Students may be admitted during the school year if openings are available.

In addition to the Application for Admission, the following documents are required to complete your student’s admission file:

  • Copy of 7th & 8th grade report cards for 9th grade applicant
  • Copy of high school transcript for 10th-12th grade applicant
  • School Principal/Vice Principal Reference Form
  • Teacher Reference Form
  • Pastor/Youth Pastor/Volunteer Supervisor Reference Form (optional)
  • Copy of latest standardized testing results (e.g. Stanford, Star, Terra Nova, etc.)
  • Copy of current Immunization records

Copies of report cards, transcripts, copies of standardized testing, and copies of immunization records can be uploaded directly to your student’s “Admissions Progress” page. These may also be mailed, emailed, faxed, or dropped off to the Admissions Office.

The reference forms are located in your student’s “Admissions Progress” page in your account on myWCS.com.  You will need to add the name and email address of the person you are requesting complete the reference forms and click submit for each reference form requested.  The reference form will be emailed as an attachment to the individual and will be returned directly to our Admissions Office.  Please note: Reference forms are confidential and by submitting the application for admission you acknowledge your understanding that the information obtained in all reference forms will be held in strict confidence and you waive your right to access information provided on the reference forms.  All information provided on reference forms is confidential and will be seen only by Western Christian High School personnel for admissions purposes.

TESTING (for students entering 9th grade only): Once the Application for Admission and the above documents have been submitted, we will contact you to schedule an appointment for your student to take an assessment exam, which will be used for class placement.  Assessment exams will be given at Western Christian High School by scheduled appointment.  Assessment exams consist of math, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW (required for all incoming students): A personal interview will be requested with the applicant and at least one parent with a Western Christian High School Administrator. Appointments will be scheduled after the application and other required documents have been reviewed and testing has been completed.

ENROLLMENT: Applicants will be notified as soon as possible regarding their acceptance and admission to Western Christian High School. Class placement is pending upon available space and is not confirmed until the applicant completes the admission process and the School receives the registration form and $360 non-refundable registration fee.

TUITION & FEES: Upon receipt of the registration form and $360 registration fee, class placement will be confirmed. Tuition is due beginning July 1st. A payment plan is available and must be established by June 1st.  Please refer to the tuition schedule for a list of current costs.  Please contact Mrs. Chela Simpson, Student Accounts Coordinator, in the Finance Office with any questions regarding tuition at (909) 920-5858 ext. 1050.

K-8 ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES

PRESCHOOL ADMISSIONS CHECKLIST

squarebullet REGISTRATION FORMRegistration Forms can be picked up in the Preschool Office. We can only reserve your child’s place when the registration fee of $110 is paid and the registration packet is completed and submitted to the preschool office. The registration fee will only be accepted if there is a space available.  The fee is non-refundable.

squarebullet IDENTIFICATION AND EMERGENCY INFORMATION: We will only release your child to an adult that is listed on this permission form.

squarebullet CHILD’S PREADMISSION HEALTH HISTORY: To be completed by a parent and will be shown to your child’s teacher so they may know how to best care for your child.  Please list any allergies that your child may have.

squarebullet PHYSICIANS REPORT:  To be completed by your physician and MUST be submitted before your child starts school.

squarebullet CONSENT FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT: Your signature is required on this form to allow the treatment of your child in an emergency.  Please list all allergies your child may have.

squarebullet IMMUNIZATION RECORDS: A copy of your student’s immunization card must be on file.  Please copy the yellow shot record completely. A TB test waiver must be signed if your child has not had a TB test done.

squarebullet STUDENT DISASTER RELEASE CARD

squarebullet TUITION: Monthly tuition is due on the first day of the month your child is scheduled to attend.

*OUR ACCEPTANCE PROCESS HAS CHANGED! All completed applications received by the 30th of each month will be processed the following month. As in the past, the student’s guardian will be required to come to the International Program office to sign for and pick up I-20 package. Prior to receiving the I-20 acceptance package, a nonrefundable, nontransferable tuition deposit of $5,000 is required (which includes a $350 registration fee and $300 testing fee).
