Toddler Program
Western Christian’s overall Preschool Program includes a Toddler Program that is specially designed for children 18 months old – 24 months (they do not need to be potty-trained). The smaller teacher to student ratios provided for the toddler class (maximum 1 to 6) allow for close supervision and positive, Christian role modeling as children begin the transition from parallel play to more interactive play. Our toddler class is taught by highly qualified teachers and is intended to give young learners an opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is tailored to meet their academic and social needs. Teachers work closely with parents to ensure we are working together on important milestones such as language development.
Curriculum
Western Christian Preschool is proud to offer a quality education that begins with Biblical teachings and Christian values, while integrating a comprehensive curriculum. We work closely with the elementary teachers at Western Christian to ensure TK readiness. We offer a balanced schedule that provides periods of directed learning to promote focus, cooperative learning, and problem solving, along with ample time for individual choices to assist in exploration and experimentation, decision making, and discovery. Our goal is to prepare students with the knowledge and truth of God while helping them thrive academically.
"The transitional kindergarten program has done a fantastic job preparing our kids for kindergarten and beyond. They started elementary school with complete confidence in themselves."
